About Summer Breeze Surf Wax
Summer Breeze Surf wax was a household name not only in Newcastle but in many parts of the world and was widely used in the 1970's & 1980's. It was used by many well known surfers of the time and touted by many as 'the best wax to use'. It was distributed in over 4 countries.
However, in the 1980's, the company changed hands and the owners decided to change the formula and release a wave ski wax. Unfortunately this was not well received and the product sales dwindled down to only a few stores in the Hunter region.
We purchased Summer Breeze Surf in 2009 to try to bring this great wax back into circulation by reminding surfers - both old & new - just how good this wax was & is. As the new owners, we have also brought back the original Summer Breeze formula that was voted best surf wax by Tracks Magazine in 1979 .
We look forward to re-launching the product to return it to it's rightful position as 'the best wax to use' and make Summer Breeze Surf Wax a household name again!
We believe that no matter what climate you are in, you need a wax that works. At Summer Breeze Surf, we manufacture surf wax for 3 different conditions - SUmmer, Winter & Tropical - PLUS a 200gm Summer BIG block for the longboard surfers - which comes in an easy to use, ergonomically designed shape.
As a result on our endeavours, to date, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers, word of mouth and referrals and we know we have the product that will meet most needs.
